We are excited to receive Mr. West on campus, and have the opportunity to learn about one of the most important advancements in Apple's and the music industry's history. The impact iTunes and, later on, the iPod had resulted in a worldwide revolution of how we consume music. Today, smartphones have become the most widely used piece of technology in the world, and it all stemmed from the same sapling the iTunes innovation planted.

Neil West

Former Head of Music for iTunes UK and later on iTunes Europe Neil West joined Apple back in 2006. He worked hand-in-hand with Steve Jobs and the rest of the Apple team to transform iTunes into the biggest music retailer in the world.

During his period as Head of Music for iTunes Europe, he was responsible for the launch of Apple Music, one of the reference music streaming platforms on the market. Today, he continues his career in Apple as Customer Services Country Manager based in Madrid Spain.
